White Wolf of Cumbria

Jillys story is one that traces back of immigration to a foreign land. Jared’s great Grandfather, AKA Jilly, was exiled from Cumbria on a boat to the new world. In this new place, he soon came to be known as the White Wolf of Cumbria, a nod to the legendary animal that was hunted to extinction in England and became a symbol of guardianship and protection.

The Lone Ranger

Some people called him the ‘Gentleman Bushranger’, he called himself Captain Thunderbolt. On the run for more than six years, he outlasted all other counterparts and became notorious in northern New South Wales. It was a crime spree of epic proportions that saw him make off with loot from mailmen, travellers, towns, and stations. He eventually met his demise shortly after a drinking session at the Split Rock pub; after forcing the bartender to pour drinks at gunpoint, an intoxicated Thunderbolt was shot dead by police. His legend lives on in the larrikin spirit of the Lone Ranger.
